Actually, no idea what I'm talking about the others, because my experience with the book was the opposite. I think this is one of the best books on the chemistry that I had the pleasure to use. AP Chem, the first textbook used in class was very complicated and confusing, and nearly as many diagrams. At halftime, we started using this text and it is now much easier and clearer, especially chemistry, acid-base balance. The book contains many examples of how weak / strong acid combinations of base / and as pH, etc. to calculate what happens when a strong base is added, and other things. Offers a simple plan to follow for all the works of the problems and how to think intuitively (eg, the interactions between ions in solution). Maybe the other sections are not so good? It 'very complete. The third years of study at university, I'm always on this book can be found before diving into my writing, chemistry, as a first update on the bases. If this is a kind of dry reading, (I have not seen him), I prefer a clear and concise text, tells me exactly how you think through problems, a new type of chemistry. Read more...
